Varsity owns and operates its own series of golf tournaments in the Seattle area, including the pre-event sales of sponsorships and player registrations, all tournament marketing and advertising, procurement and distribution of more than $100,000 in prizes annually, and all day-of-event management. In the seven years since the series launched in 2010, the Cascade Golfer Cup has become the Northwest’s premier amateur golf tournament series, with more than 50 total tournaments having drawn up to 128 players at each event, while highlighting some of the Puget Sound region’s finest daily-fee courses. Varsity has also run multi-day tournaments in Portland, Ore., and regions throughout Washington state, and conducts an annual Match Play series that draws golfers from throughout the Pacific Northwest.

Varsity also has a strong relationship with the region’s professional tournaments. Varsity manages the website and e-news messaging for the PGA TOUR Champions Tour’s Boeing Classic, and was the marketing agent for the PGA Tour’s Merrill Lynch Invitational.
